International Surface Preparation was formed from the combination of several independent distribution businesses in the United States and Canada. ISP’s roots began in 1998 with the acquisition of Southwest Abrasives and Fusco Abrasive systems in Texas and Southern California respectively.
We have since expanded, either through acquisition or start-up, to cover all of the major industrial markets in the Southern US and Canada and now have facilities in:

ISP’s stock is unsurpassed in the industry. We average over 10 million pounds of abrasives inventory. We maintain 3,600 total stock keeping units and over 700 abrasive SKUs. We keep a significant inventory of the most popular equipment for surface finishing including portable blast pots, pressure and suction blast cabinets, vibratory bowls, and wastewater treatment equipment.
