- Manufactured by cutting carbon wire into lengths equal to the wire diameter which produces a much more consistent size and shape product than cast steel shot
- Generally specified only in very stringent shot peening applications
- Carbon cut wire is extremely hard, durable and, after conditioning, produces a very consistent round shape
