Ultrasonic
Ultrasonic cleaning utilizes a tank containing a liquid that conducts energy created from an ultrasound generating transducer. The transducer is either located within the tank or it can be built into the tank itself. Cleaning actually takes place from the energy created from the transducer through the liquid in the tank. The energy is a result of the ultrasonic waves which generate microscopic bubbles. These bubbles crash against the surfaces of the parts to be cleaned.
These systems are frequently used for cleaning delicate or sensitive items such as
- Jewelry
- Medical Instruments
- Electronics
- Other Industrial Components
