Zinc Cut Wire

Qualities

• Metallic abrasive softer than steel, stainless steel, cast or cut wire products
• Ideal for deflashing and finishing die castings, normally in wheelblast equipment
• Made from high grade zinc wire
• Produces a cosmetically correct finish with very low breakdown rate and fairly constant mass size
• Will reduce wear and tear on blast equipment compared to most other metallic abrasives

• Typical hardness 20-30 Rockwell B
• Will deposit a thin film of zinc on steel parts producing short term rust protection
